Founder

Mohamed is a highly skilled martial artist with military combat training and over two decades of experience in the gold trade. Throughout his career, he has navigated the complexities of the industry, witnessing its highs and lows. Achieving financial success in his 40s, he has continued to expand his ventures and influence.
With extensive expertise in gold mining across both the African continent, Mohamed has also been a pivotal figure in fostering the growth of multi-billion-dollar enterprises across Pan Asia for 20 years. Today, he serves as the founder of MU Vision Group, a venture he established alongside his son, combining their vision and expertise to drive innovation and success.

Chief Operations Officer
Board Appointment - August 2020
He has served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company since 2020, bringing extensive hands-on experience in the gold mining sector. His expertise spans the entire mining process, from prospecting and conducting site surveys to geological mapping and identifying mineral-rich locations. Currently, he is supporting MU Vision Ghana, one of our investee companies, in establishing a small-scale mining operation.
Before entering the mining industry, he worked with the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport in the Western Cape, South Africa, from 1988 to 2008. There, he developed and implemented youth development programs targeting high-risk communities. Between 2002 and 2008, he served as the Development Officer for the Western Cape Cultural Commission. Following this, he was appointed National Director of the Kolping Society of South Africa, a non-governmental organization specializing in vocational training. Additionally, he dedicated nine years to local government, focusing on community development initiatives.
UMAR MOHAMED

Umar has been deeply engaged in the investment and gold mining industry for six years, working closely with his father, Gammat Mohammed. Together, they co-founded MU Vision International in July 2018, with “MU” representing Mohamed Umar.
Umar is passionate about harnessing cutting-edge technologies to drive advancements in key sectors, including mining, space exploration, vertical farming, dairy farming, and aquaculture. He has overseen the management of multi-billion-dollar investments, budgets, and funds for global projects. As the head of technology at MU Vision Technologies, he leads the development of innovative platforms designed to transform these industries.
Beyond his professional achievements, Umar is dedicated to youth empowerment and community development. He runs school programs focused on teaching boxing, helping children build discipline, confidence, and life skills. Additionally, he develops sim racing and community initiatives aimed at keeping youth away from drugs and violence, creating safe and inspiring spaces for growth and development. Through these efforts, he continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of the young people he serves.
